When importing (or synchronizing) configurations this module is causing issues, which I assume occurs due to missing configuration dependencies.

Current shortcutperrole.settings:

role:
  anonymous: default
  authenticated: default
  role1: other
  role2: other
  role3: default
  administrator: default

Expected:

role:
  anonymous: default
  authenticated: default
  role1: other
  role2: other
  role3: default
  administrator: default
dependencies:
  config:
    - shortcut.set.default
    - shortcut.set.other
  module:
    - shortcut

The expected code is based on other configs and is just to give an idea of the expected config. The actual output might differ.

I've investigated this issue, and the dependencies as described in the ticket cannot be implemented for simple configs like shortcutperrole. settings. You can't find any example in the core. To do that, you need to develop the whole mechanism for handling such dependencies, which doesn't make sense. It works for config entities, but not for simple configs. Anyway, I've implemented functionality to remove dependent records in config when a user role is deleted https://www.drupal.org/project/shortcutperrole/issues/3620897. The second part of cleaning dependencies I've added here. When you remove the shortcut itself, the shortcutperrole. settings will be updated as well.
