Infinitee created an issue.

This error has gone away and the download and install is working correctly! Seems to have been some kind of Chrome interference.

3 years later, but I ran into the same problem whenever I tried to add/remove a paragraph from a node, and Infinitee's comment actually helped me fix it.

In my case, it was the JSON Viewer Awesome extension that broke it for me. Removed that from Chrome and the AJAX errors stopped.
