When the following criteria apply:

  • "Populate the advanced form with default values" has been selected
  • the language selection checkboxes are displayed
  • a search has been carried out on one or more specific languages

then it would be good if the appropriate language selection checkboxes were checked after the search has been run (and the equivalent elements removed from the basic search string).

Similar functionality seems to be present for content-types, but not for languages.

It would also be useful for administrators to be able to specify that searches should only be carried out in the currently selected language by default (checking the relevant language checkbox automatically).

D7 reached its EOL back in January 2025, and there is no active release for D7 for this module anymore.
Development or support is not planned for D7. All D7-related issues are marked as outdated in a bunch.
