Description:
Prior to this change, PHP errors and exceptions were either silently ignored or the response would fatal with printed HTML and break expected JSON in the ajax response.
Now, all PHP errors will be shown (respecting the site's PHP error display configuration) as an error type status message via drupal_set_message().
If your callbacks start showing errors you two options to proceed:
- Fix the errors.
- Add the following configuration variable to your
settings.phpfile until you can do #1:
$conf['js_silence_php_errors'] = TRUE;
