Problem/Motivation

Paragraphs displays a button with actions per paragraphs.
We even want to add more of those buttons to "Collapse all".
It's a dropdown button showing the primary action and an expand element.

The buttons are adding visual weight, while not being in primary interaction process.
For the remove action, the Seven styleguide proposes a minimal X.

Proposed resolution

Follow the Seven styleguide for the X.

Implement a new element that is a dropdown button only. It needs to have a light appearance.
All actions that are rarely used will be hidden inside.

Remaining tasks

#2829676: Change remove button by an "x"
#2829677: Implement a new render element for a collapsible button
#2831409: Remove Confirm Deletion / restore actions for paragraphs

Priority: Normal » Major

Now that some refactoring was completed, we should get this done ASAP.

The UX decreased and mobile is kverloaded showing a horizontal scrollbar due to the sticky "Remove" button.

IMHO the action item should be a full isolated element that is theme independent or could be reinterpreted by a theme.

The only top major change to core dropbutton is, the first button item should not (never) be visible by default, but only after expansion.

Recent mock-ups display the button with a "..." instead a triangle. We want to indicate a menu, not a collapsible fieldset.
