hiflyer commentedNote - I do not have FFMPEG installed/available. Could that be the problem?
stella commentedAny chance you could send me a link to your site? It'd be the quickest way for me to try to figure out the problem. My contact form is enabled if you wish to do so privately.
Do any errors appear in Firefox's Error Console (under Tools menu)? Does this happen in all browsers / platforms?
Cheers,
Stella

stella commentedSorry for the delay in replying, I was on vacation.
On admin/settings/lightbox2 there should be a checkbox called "Enable Video Support". You need to check this option if you want to use the
rel="lightvideo"feature. However, the lightbox shouldn't have been triggered with this option disabled, so I'll look into that. It could already be fixed in the latest dev release, so try upgrading to that if it still fails to work.Cheers,
Stella

stella commentedOk, I've attached a patch which will fix the issue of the lightbox triggering on lightvideo links even when the "enable video support" option is disabled. It's also included in the latest dev release, available later today.

Stella

ss_drupal commentedI'm having this problem right now.
I'm using lightbox2-6.x-1.9
I'm building the site on my pc
win xp pro 2002 sp2
apache 2.0.59 (Win32) PHP/5.2.6
drupal 6.14
I have the swf files in an images directory right under the site root, and a player in there as well called JW FLV filename -- player.swf
I set up a link thus:

I have the [Enable video support] checked.
When I hit the link, the browser asks me what application to open the video in, and offers the various players I have installed on the pc (winamp, etc...) as options.
Oddly, the lightbox overlay comes up, and the timer thingamabob plays in the display area. But it doesn't seem to catch the video.
Have I done something wrong?
Please advise.

The lightvideo box comes up but the error says "no plug-in available to display this content". I'm using Chrome on a Windows 7, 64bit machine.
Here is the page that I'm trying to get the lightvideo to appear in (the link in the top-right of the main content "here's a quick guide"): https://startuptoolshop.com/tools
This is the code that I'm using: quick guide
