Hi,
I installed it but it didn't work on the Bootstrap 3 theme. I put the Custom Search 1 block in a region but it is not displayed. I switched it to the Bartik 7.5 theme and worked and the Custom Search 1 block is displayed as expected. Unfortunately my website must keep the Bootstrap 3 theme.
Is there a trick to solve the issue?

jdanthinne commentedIf it's working with any other theme, the issue is with the theme itself I think, not Custom Search.
If you inspect the DOM or the HTML source, can you see some Custom Search code somewhere?

silvi.addweb commentedHi @aliriolancheros,
This is working fine for me with bootstrap version 3 and custom search version 7.x-1.20, Can you please provide more details for this? Also, please make sure that the block is not hidden.
Thanks

aliriolancheros commentedHi jdanthinne and tejal.patel,
Thanks for your help!
I was checking whether something was hidden and yes, I had hidden ".search-form {
display: none;
}" which hides the Advanced search.
Could it be the cause?
I have not verified yet whether it was the cause but I will do it and then I will update here.

jdanthinne commentedIf you need to hide the Advanced Search, just use the dedicated settings in Custom Search settings (Results page settings), and avoid trying to do it via CSS.

loon commentedD7 reached its EOL back in January 2025, and there is no active release for D7 for this module anymore.
Development or support is not planned for D7. All D7-related issues are marked as outdated in a bunch.
If the issue remains relevant for D10+ versions, merge requests with proposed solutions for a new module version (D10+) are welcome in a new follow-up issue.
Thanks!
