Description: 

To improve performance across Drupal.org in general, and to resolve a MySQL contention issue on our database cluster, we are expanding our use of APDQC. Currently we use APDQC on events.drupal.org, and we'll be rolling this out to Drupal Jobs and then to www.drupal.org. We hope to see performance improvements and reduced locking on the cache tables.

Update: Deployed to Events and Jobs - deployment to Drupal.org rolled back after performance issues. We are consulting with the project maintainer.
