Turns out that you don't need to follow those instructions now but I still can't see the chat window

I still can't get this to work. I did have a mixed content problem, that I fixed and the chat works just off the server but won't show the chat window on my site.

The javascript is loading on the page but it is not putting the chat window on the page

I'm not sure what problem the OP had getting this working, but I will concede that there should be more than zero documentation for the use of this module.
