I have installed oembed dev version few days ago and i am happy it is converting urls to embedded content. I have tried to add new providers to test, few are working, few are not. Anyway, I am using it in plain text (text format) and when I am sharing only the link, it is working, but when I write some text either before or after the link, it does not convert to embedded content. Another way can be to use Facebook style micro-publisher module, a sub-module of statuses module, which provides option to share links, photos, videos with the status updates, but i do not know how to integrate it with oembed. Any solution to my problem?

Is it a replacement for oembed? I think this module is similar to opengraph filter module. Oembed converts links to embedded content, which allows user to watch the video or the image on my website. This is what I want.

D7 reached its EOL back in January 2025, and there is no active release for D7 for this module anymore.
Development or support is not planned for D7. All D7-related issues are marked as outdated in a bunch.
