Created a block view
Added some fields
Added a contextual filter - Content: ID
Selected Type as Content ID from URL
Saved the view
NOW no links are working in the view UI for that view (All other views are fine)
The popup displaying the settings/data of FIELDS,FORMAT,FILTER CRITERIA ... etc is not displaying.
I am guessing this is bug which has something to do with the 'get content ID from URL contextual filter'

Drupal: 8.1.7
GD library: 2.1.1-dev
Multilingual enabled

Moving to the right queue, and closing as a duplicate of #2647916: Views ajax modals stop working in certain scenarios: due to JS settings caching, AJAX responses may set wrong ajaxPageState.libraries, causing problems for subsequent AJAX requests/responses

But thanks for the hint about this specific default filter value, going to try and replicate it with that.
