I have added some menus under a main navigation menu item. But no matter how i try to enable it, i can't see any sub menus.
Please help.. is there any documentation on how to get it to work correctly?

pengi CreditAttribution: pengi commentedMe too...same issue, or related. I've added a submenu below a primary link (below and to the right) and the submenu never appears under the primary link. I see submenu's on the salamander demo site, maybe they're not 'built in' to this theme??
Can anyone shed some light on this? I've never used submenus so it's hard for to be sure if I'm doing it right or not.

What is interesting is if you go to Dr. Radut's site http://www.radut.net/ you will see that the sub menus are working. Just mouse over the Management or News buttons.
I am curious if his site is running Drupal 5 or 6, having never used 5.x having a hard time telling.

Florian CreditAttribution: Florian commentedIn order to ask properly, or to solve that strange behavior pls. send your URLs. The posted Salamander theme does not have a drop down menu. It will show the secondary menu if Drupal is properly configured (primary and secondary menu pointing to primary menu).
The coming soon version of Salamander will have the drop down menu "out of the box"

pengi CreditAttribution: pengi commentedNot sure what strange behavior you're referring to? There isn't much to resolve, if it's a fact that the current theme just doesn't support drop down menus out of the box. So not sure why anyone should send urls or "ask properly". We're all trying to utilize a feature that's not in the theme. I'm not using it anyways, just tested.

j2g2 CreditAttribution: j2g2 commentedHi,
I installed nice menus, but I still can't make the submenu drop down directly from the "primary links". Does anyone have any suggestion?
Thanks,

j2g2 CreditAttribution: j2g2 commentedHello, Florian,
I just wanted to check with you if the the drop down menu feature work under the primary links available?
Thanks,

j2g2 CreditAttribution: j2g2 commentedThe salamandar theme was good except the primary menu does not support dropdown menu out from the box. Then the out put of the the unorderlist structure from the theme does not match examples out there that user can't follow to make the menu work... :(

Florian CreditAttribution: Florian commentedPlease download the latest Salamander release or better use the new Salamander Skins theme.

jimmb CreditAttribution: jimmb commentedI have downloaded the latest version of this theme for Drupal 6, and the drop-down menus aren't working (tested in both Salamander Skins and Salamander 8).
Everything is set up correctly as far as I know. I checked the Theme and Menu settings, but do not see any option to enable drop-down menus. So I'm not sure if I'm missing something or if there's a bug, but I can't think of anything else to try.
Thanks for any advice,
Jim
