rogueturnip commentedI too would like to see this as an option in the admin section

dontdoit commentedwould like to turn it off, too. maybe there is a hook?

travist commentedIf the videos are already in FLV format, then you should not need to turn anything off. Flashvideo should not try to convert those videos. It will however try to make a thumbnail. You can also put the text "NOCONVERT" in the filename and it won't convert it as well. That is a last resort.
Let me know if this works.

rogueturnip commentedI'll give this a try tonight hopefully. Any chance in the next code release that there could be a check box for "no convert" and "no thumbnail"?
amedjones commentedfor anyone out there having the same issue. Placing NOCONVERT will work. you will not get an error message about thumbnail creation
Comment #6
tagawa commentedAnother vote for "no convert" and "no thumbnail" options.
Great module, by the way. Using it successfully to play MP3s.

amedjones commentedas a note.. even though i am not receiving php error regarding thumbnail, i still have page not found error logs about missing "myvideo.jpg". I could create a dummy jpg but this would be tedious for all the videos i have .

very cool module, very useful, but only if you have right hosting.
