Hello,

I want to use the Serial Field as 'guid' (i.e. unique field) for integrating with Feeds Import. But, I am unable to see the field created using Serial Field module during the Feeds Bulk Import fields mapping.

Is this the feature missing or should I make changes in the interface to make this field appear in the 'Fields Mapping' for the Feeds Import?

This is so weird. I had it working on 7.x-1.5 until the 7.x-1.7 update.

Had to fix table names, and revert back to 7.x-1.5 to get the basics working again. I can even see my old maps to the serial field, but can't see/select any serial fields in new paths now.

Just can't work out why I can't map them now.

As far as I know there isn't (and never was) Feeds integration in Serial Field 7.x.

This is so weird. I had it working on 7.x-1.5 until the 7.x-1.7 update.

I'm assuming this integration was provided by custom code. And that it broke after the update from 7.x-1.5 to 7.x-1.7.

Note that there's Feature request #2480035: Support importing serial field with Feeds importer, with a decent patch. The patch at #2480035-7: Support importing serial field with Feeds importer was provided 25 October 2016.

Given all this, I think this 7.x Support request can now be closed in favor of the 7.x Feature request.
