My hosting provider switched me to PHP 5.5 and says OpCache is enabled. However when I run Production Monitor I get the error below. How do I fix this? I have never used this so not familiar with APC/OPcache. I am running Drupal 7. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

APC/OPcache	Disabled
APC/OPcache not properly configured, too many misses: hits: 0, misses: 166, cache full count: 0.

The same happens using PHP 7.x OPcache is up and running, drupal is happily using it, but prod_check display: disabled.

Happy to review patches here, if someone finds a solution. Otherwise I think 7.x won't receive further feature / bugfix updates, if not security relevant.
