I have had Nodeaccess installed for some time on one of my sites, now at Drupal 5.7. I found the need to change the access for some of the nodes which are content type Audio, from the Audio module. When I view an Audio node, the Grant tab is missing. It appears to be missing for some other node types, such as Acidfree Albums and some custom node types I created to use CCK. What might cause it to be missing for these content type?

You need to specifically enable the grant tab for all content types, as it is by default off for new types. If that is not the problem, I recommend upgrading to the latest version and see if it helps. Since this now points to an old version this issue is closed, to be reopened if the problem persists.
