There are incoming links describing this as the Drupal 8 successor to Omega 4, but looking at the project page, to be frank, this doesn't look like a serious base theme aimed at Omega 4's target audience of serious front-end developers.

For those of us choosing between Omega 4 and its alternatives for real-life projects which are to be launched in Drupal 7 but which will in the not too distant future be updated to Drupal 8, this is very confusing.

Is this really the successor to Omega 4?

I updated the project page to reflect the current status of the project. Note that while this is indeed eventually going to be the successor of Omega 4.x in terms of methodology, it is NOT going to be a base theme. Instead, this will be an ever evolving, configurable theme generator producing an adaptable theme for you to start your projects with. I firmly believe that with Drupal 8 and the amazing improvements to the theme layer, the whole idea behind contrib base themes belonging to the realm of Zen, Omega, Aurora, etc. has been nullified. It makes much more sense to create a theme generator, which is what I awm going to do under this namespace.

So, yes: This is a serious project but since I am currently focusing on GraphQL for Drupal you can consider it postponed until I am done with the first release of that module.
