array_merge(): Argument #1 is not an array image.module:586

Reason, image_effect_definition_load() can return a non-array result. I'm seeing this error on PHP 7. Not sure if it is an issue on previous versions, but flagging as such for now.

Thanks for the patch. I believe this is a duplicate of the linked issue, which has a similar patch.

Confirmed, it is duplicate.

It is a duplicate because it is not committed to core

Can someone please commit this to core so each time a new Drupal version comes down it does not have to patched over and over

A year later from my last entry - and it STILL needs to be comitted to core - the error returns on each core update
