First, I'm sorry for my english but I'm french...
So...
I have installed my first Drupal 8 website with paxton (I've installed a lot of website since drupal 5) but I've got a big pb. Everyday since I've installed it, my homepage displays : "The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later."
And my theme has disappeared.
When I go in appearance I see that all my slide pictures in FRONT PAGE SLIDESHOW has disappeared and I have tu upload them again... When I install at least one, my paxton's theme is hre again....
What is the pb..?
Thanxs a lot and sorry for my english.
PS : my pictures are also disappeared from my site/default/files location... oO
PS 2 : I tried to solve the problem by changing access permissions for my pictures so they don't disappaer from directory but the pb is still the same : theme is deasapperaing... I have to go in appearence /paxton and "save" to have my the again...
Is there anybody who have a solution...?

leopathu commentedhi,
While uploading your images, try to save settings two times, it should work. There is some bug in the drupal core on it, let me know it is fixing your problem :)

dnsahoo commentedHi,
I am also facing problem, my slider images are deleted after some days or (if I hit Ctrl + F5 two to three times) automatically, from site/default/files location.
As told by @Leopathu, we need to save the settings two times, I have tried but my admin pages goes blank. My 'admin/appearence' is not working, I am getting blank screen.
Please guide.

oriol_e9gThe problem is that slide images are saved as temporary, and when pass 6 hours and Drupal executes the cron remove all temproary files.
The theme defines a submit handler $form['#submit'][] = 'paxton_settings_form_submti' to alter the uploaded images and doi it permanent but the submit handler it's not fired due a core bug.
We have to work with this core bug to solve the problem: https://www.drupal.org/node/1862892
