Clicking the images directly is probably quicker than checking the checkboxes, which are small and harder to target with the mouse cursor. Can fall back to checkboxes when the browser does not have JavaScript.

Implemented this. A red border is used to indicate that an image is selected. Changed the default number of images from 12 to 10, because only 5 images fit in a row now with the spacing for the border.
