I have three additional user roles defined with permissioning such that:
administrator > site manager > partner
If I choose to grant access to a view by role (through the options in the "basic settings") and select the above three user roles (leaving "anonymous user" & "authenticated user" unchecked), only the "partner" user role is actually able to access this view (even uid=1 is blocked from accessing it).
In my example, this isn't a big issue because they are also all "authenticated users" so I can just grant permission to that one role instead. Nevertheless, each role isn't permitted access as expected.

merlinofchaos commentedOkay, I can duplicate the problem with UID 1 -- but I'm unable to duplicate the problem with roles unable to access the view.
I've re-added the "access all views" permission so that UID 1 can have the override. But I can't find any problems with roles at this time.
