Being quite familiar with Search and less so with migrate in D8 (but I'm familiar with migrate in D7), this looks correct to me. Because I'm less familiar with migrate, I will let someone else mark it RTBC. But the search stuff, translating the variables in 7 to config settings in 8, looks correct to me.
