I've set up a length rule for a postal code field, if I enable the clientside validation field validation module I get this error message when I input 322 in that field.

The Postal code must have between [min] and [max] digits. 322 is [length] digits long

Attached a patch that solves this and also translate the message the same way field validation does and does some other token subtitution.
