rdeboerHi Om,
Thank you for your enquiry.
All fields in your View that you haven't explicitly EXCLUDED via the tick box will automatically appear in the info balloon that pops up when you click a marker.
How on earth you managed to get the word "regionbound" in there is beyond me. But maybe there's been a regression in the code.
Can you show us a screenshot?
Also tell us more about your setup. Are you using IPGV&M in combination with Google, Leaflet or OpenLayers?
What module are you using for the address. Addressfield? Or is your address just a textfield?
What module are you using for latitude/longitude storage? Geofield, Getlocations, Location or Geolocation Field?
It sounds like the Location module, especially if you've used it with GMap....

ANANSFPL commentedI'm having the same issue. Attached is a photo.
Field is Geolocation and also using IPGV&M with Google Maps.

Yes, IP Geolocation Views & Maps - 7.x-1.27+20-dev
What module are you using for the address. Addressfield? Or is your address just a textfield?
Geolocation - 7.x-1.6+5-dev
What module are you using for latitude/longitude storage? Geofield, Getlocations, Location or Geolocation Field?
Geolocation - 7.x-1.6+5-dev
I have four ( including the Title ) fields in the View and the only message I get in the callout/bubble is the "RegionBound" message.
Let me know if you need more information ( or want to see the live thing )
Thanks for the quick responses btw!
ANANSFPL commentedAnother screenshot of my grep of the source. I cannot for the life of me, find out where to enable/disable this.
ANANSFPL commentedLast screenshot.
Edit:
Found it: http://cgit.drupalcode.org/ip_geoloc/commit/ip_geoloc_api.inc?id=0c89c1e...
Temporary Fix is to comment out the two lines.
Do you advise we should not be using the DEV version?
rdeboerThanks @ANANSFPL
Can you be a little more specific? Which 2 lines? And when you comment these out, will we lose functionality?
Can you provide a patch of your solution, please?
Thanks so much!
Rik
Comment #9
ANANSFPL commentedRdeBoer,
Unfortunately, I have 0 experience with contemporary programming ( such as how to create patches... lol ), but here are the
twoone lines that I commented out:+ $location->balloon_text = 'a href="http://regionbound.com">RegionBound/a';
Once I removed that line, everything worked fine. All of the fields ( text + images ) that I added now show up on the balloon.
Attached is the working balloon text.
Again, thank you for the awesome module work :)
weri commentedI have the same problem after upgrading from 1.27 to the latest dev.
weri commentedThe following commit added the line ANANSFPL mentioned in #9: http://cgit.drupalcode.org/ip_geoloc/commit/ip_geoloc_api.inc?id=0c89c1e...
This line makes no sense for me, because it overwrites always the $location->balloon_text variable also when a value is set?
weri commentedFixed the wrong base path in the patch.
rdeboer@weri and everyone above
Looking at this more closely, I have no idea how this offending line got in there.
It's like a temporary test was done and it didn't get removed, but checked into the repository instead!
Ouch!
Thanks everyone for reporting and correcting.
Checked in.

omvaishnav commentedThank you all,
Now, I am able to sort out the issue by adding the patch.

rdeboer@omvaishnav,
You don't have to add the patch. I've done that and checked it into the Git repository.
The new version of the module has already been auto-generated by the system: just download IPGV&M 7.x-1.x-dev from the project page.
