Hi all,

I recently noticed that the superfish menus do not funtion on my iPhone anymore. But only if I am logged in.
My system is using the theme "Sky" set to mobile first. I am using:

Durpal version: 7.38
Superfish version: 7.x-1.x-dev
And of course the master branch of the Superfish library
jQuery Update 7.x-2.6 set to jQuery Version 1.10

All that running on Ubuntu server 10.04 LTS.

Now for quite some time everything worked. I only noticed the bug recently when I tried to access my site by iPhone. After signing into the site I noticed that the accordion did not expand when clicking on the "menu" button in the menu-bar block. The same happenes when I try it on my MacBook with the browser (Firefox, Chrome, Safari) set to a very small width.

The strange thing is that I am also running a testserver - in this case the latest debian version. And there everything is working out fine. The accordion expands on my iPhone logged in and logged out.

The debian server is not running jQuery Update 7.x-2.6, don't know if that's a problem.

Any ideas what's wrong?

Best wishes
Paul

Okay, short update.

I downgraded jQuery Version 1.10 to jQuery Version 1.7.2 and put all the settings in the superfish configuration into the default position. Now I get the following behavior:

When not logged in the superfish menu turns into an accordion menu when viewed on my iPhone.

When logged in as "User 1" the superfish menu also works on my iPhone.

When logged in as any other user the superfish menu is simply dead on my iPhone (and all my browsers, when I compress the window to the smallest possible width).

Now I did not find anythings about permissions anywhere except the "administrate superfish" and the block visibility permissions.

Has anyone any idea why the accordion function works for anonymous users, user 1 but not any other registered users? Must be some kind ofer permission problem.

Best wishes
Paul

Nevermind.

Got if working again. Looks like it was some kind of problem with the "Sky" theme after all. Changed some settings and suddenly it was working again.

Have a good week
Paul
