I use this module in production across a number of sites for a multinational organisation as part of my Day Job. I'm interested in becoming a maintainer, as it has some significant shortcomings but does provide useful feature to Drupal 7.
Things can be improved here.

sorry we didn't response, seems we overlooked this issue.
klausi, the original author of restws, posted in this Issue the requirements for applying as a maintainer.
I think it's appropriate, since jolleychris profile seems rather empty.

Ok, I helped contribute to a solution for the issue mentioned above, i posted a fix for multi value fields, and I have contributed to converting the Drupal 8 rest tests to Guzzle. Could I please have commit access? I want to commit the issue to fix the currently failing tests in HEAD. Any site using this functionality (including drupal.org) need this patch in order to update to a secure drupal.
