image_resize_filter 1.15 was recently released:

It looks like it's just bug fixes!

This will need manual testing, but I'm pretty sure this bug will get in the way of that:

#2272721: Image Resize Filter never utilized

So, we'll need to solve that first!

Going to investigate this. The version is useful regardless of #2272721: Image Resize Filter never utilized due to the warning message it outputs in #2093315: Don't output warning in hook_install
