Carriage returns (^M) in deployed file

When I tested this module, the file that was generated contained a '^M' character at the end of each line. This seems to be coming from the database as the template file doesn't contain them. I patched the module to replace these with PHP_EOL. I also removed the hardcoded "\n" and replaced those with PHP_EOL as well.
