dsnopekThe tests have passed. @mpotter told me over IRC that this is stable enough for production! I'll merge this soon.

micbar CreditAttribution: micbar as a volunteer commentedI had to hotfix my custom install profile and revert to features 7.x-2.5. The drush features revert command triggers a PHP Fatal Error by exceeding the memory limit.

dsnopekThanks for the report! It should be totally safe to revert to 2.5 - we didn't change any of our code for Features 2.6-rc1.
I'm marking this back to Fixed, since we did successfully update to Features 2.6-rc1. Depending on what happens on #2508501: Memory Size exceeded while reverting all features we might decide to revert to 2.5, in which case it makes sense to re-open this issue. But if we end up including a patch to fix or upgrade to 2.6-rc2 or something, then that would be a new issue!
mpotter CreditAttribution: mpotter commentedReopening this. Just released Features 2.6 that has the patch regarding the recursive issue that was causing memory size and timeout errors.
Should update panopoly_core to Features 2.6.
It would be nice *not* to revert back to 2.5 because of all the improvements to Features for removing un-needed overrides in distros like Open Atrium that build on Panopoly.
dsnopek@mpotter: Can you make a new issue for that? We really only re-open issues if (a) we need to revert or (b) the original goal of the issue wasn't actually accomplished, even though we thought it was. We successfully updated to Features 2.6-rc1, updating to 2.6 should be a new issue!
dsnopekOut of laziness, I'm just going to rename this issue.
Here's the test run on Travis-CI: https://travis-ci.org/panopoly/panopoly/builds/69169030
I'll merge if the tests pass!

dsnopekTests passed! Commited.

mpotter CreditAttribution: mpotter commentedNew version of Features is out, so need to update Panopoly.
dsnopekCan you please open a new issue for this? We really only re-open issues if we're going to revert the change (usually because the committed didn't actually do as promised or some problem was found with it).

dsnopekClosing this issue in favor of #2706259: Update to Features 2.9 for SA-CONTRIB-2016-020
