In the wake of #2462681: Remove jessebeach from the maintainers.txt, I asked seutje about his plans on JS maintainership:

Here is the patch removing his name from D8 JS maintainers.txt and a huge thank you for all the work seutje did for our javascript, Drupal or third-party.
