Can't attach a file to a forum post. I made sure all settings are correct: allowable content, appropriate allocated space. When i hit attach then hit preview (required befor post) it seems like the file is uploading then it dissapears (it never actually uploads). Any idea how to fix this?

This sounds to me like you're still using upload.module, not attachment.module. Be sure that you've configured the node type that you're using to enable the top 'attachment' feature as well as (or in place of) the bottom one.

Moving to attachments module. With out more info hard to say. There where some confusing install instructions before. Please check the latest instructions.
