Date Reminder and Rules
Date Reminder version 7.x-1.10 includes minimal support for Rules. These rules don't support complete management of reminders via rules, but they do let a site administrator create new reminders on existing nodes based on already-existing Rules events.
There's no attempt here to describe how Rules work. Read elsewhere for that. But if you already use Rules, this should tell you what's possible in Date Reminder.
Date Reminder Rules Conditions
Date Reminder supports the following conditions for a node:
Node allows reminders
This will be true if reminders are enabled for this node, whether or not the current user is permitted to set reminders.
User may set reminder on node
This will be true if the currently running user is allowed to set reminders for this node.
Date Reminder Rules Actions
The following Rules actions can be performed on a node:
Set a reminder
- node
- user
- lead time
This will create a new reminder for this node and user with the specified lead time.
Set reminder enable on node
- node
- enabled state (true/false)
Enable or disable reminders for this node. Note that reminders can be enabled for a node only if they are enabled for the node type.
