chx commentedSee, I can't even roll a patch properly any more.
chx commentedDoh!

David_Rothstein commentedIf you want to be removed from MAINTAINERS.txt you certainly don't owe an explanation, but since you provided a partial one..... would you like to provide the rest?
I don't think removing people from MAINTAINERS.txt is something that the CWG can reasonably request.

chx commentedThe CWG didn't exactly request this for sure. They had some plan that I was absolutely not interested in which "Some of the actions suggested involved stepping back, ceasing to engage with some people" -- well, they will certainly get that: I removed my linkedin / tag1 profile picture (as it had a druplicon on it indicating an entirely different level of connection to Drupal as it is now), changed my linkedin url (as it was /in/druplicon), removed the druplicon (even if a crying druplicon) from the twitter profile, removed the word Drupal from twitter profile, I am doing this issue so that people have no reason ask me to get involved with any core patches any more and I will not post a core patch unless it's work. In general, I will limit my Drupal interactions to work. My work as a volunteer contributor is finished as the Drupal I contributed to have ceased to exist both as a software and as a community. To quote the discussion from last night "that was a different time" -- sure it was.

chx commentedAlso please remove me from the maintainers of https://www.drupal.org/node/3060 . Thanks.

David_Rothstein commentedOK, thanks for the further explanation. Committed to 7.x.
Thank you for your awesome work as a Drupal 7 maintainer over the years. Certainly very sorry to see you leave MAINTAINERS.txt, but as you know, if you change your mind in the future the patch is easy to revert :)
I have removed you from the maintainers list on the Drupal project page also.
