Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
This module seems to work perfectly well with Backdrop via the simple addition of backdrop = 1.x
to the .info file.
Since the addition of that line is harmless for the Drupal version of the module, I'm going to add it here so that the same code can be used for either Drupal 7 or Backdrop.

David_Rothstein CreditAttribution: David_Rothstein commentedI actually used a different tag on purpose, since this isn't really a port. Maybe we should leave both tags for now.
I have a blog post coming out (probably this week) which raises that as a topic of discussion... I'm curious how best to track or otherwise deal with modules that don't necessarily require a separate Backdrop version on GitHub (because the Drupal.org version can work with Backdrop instead). Not sure how common of a situation it will be.

hass CreditAttribution: hass commentedI have ported GA and this is not possible in one code for sure. A native backdrop port requires tooo many changes.
