If this module is orphaned, will someone pick it up to update it to 6.x?

I have a decent amount invested in this module and would like to keep using it if I can.

Hi! It isn't orphaned -- I (the author) have a lot of stuff in it as well. Right now, I am working on a bunch of other things, so I haven't started upgrading my modules to 6.x. I'm hoping to have the time to do this in a month or two.

Here's a patch that updates to D6 and makes the event module dependancy optional. This will allow any content type to have minutes attached.

Next up is to optionally connect it to the calendar/date api modules.

As I have gotten other issues resolved with modules and D6, looking to add this fine feature to our list. Subscribing, thanks for the work and efforts. Had this in old D5 site that we don't have since lost server to new server, so now D6, trying to regain some lost ground.

This patch has been applied to HEAD. I have not tested it. I will now be reworking the code to try and clean up my earlier poor coding skills...

Hi! There is now a beta available for Drupal 6. It is beta because some parts have not been tested (in particular, the upgrade path). Please back up your database before upgrading.

Please test it and post issues!
