Please don't use Doxygens @mainpage command - see Documenting contributed modules and themes in the Doxygen chapter of the Drupal handbook. I corrected this once, but you reverted that change.

Thanks. That's a new handbook page, and I never noticed the commit. Putting a note in the issue queue would help, since I don't expect other people to be making commits. When dww makes mass changes like this, he informs @development.

Is there a contributions API repository online somewhere?

I host my own API documentation, so having a @mainpage is necessary.
