I recently got inside information stating that the video-serving services for Dutch government is changing.
The old application, named "Mediabank" is to be replaced by one named "Mediatheek".
I have yet to dig into the details, but so far the changes are:

  • Domains/paths resources are changing
  • XML format is changing
  • XML no longer available via service, only downloadable

As far as I can tell, XML mapping needs to be changed, and there needs to be an upload for XML files.

Ok, more info on this.
The new service is in use now, but still work in progress.
The existing service will remain online for existing content, nothing will be migrated.
The XML is not ready yet, there are attributes and values missing like video dimensions and duration. This is said to be fixed in time coming.
Also the XML is not online available anymore for linking, only for download. This is probably being fixed in the future.

Apart from some minor Drupal coding standard improvements, the updates look great. Good work!

Please check the comment styles and newlines at the end of the files.
