Autocomplete does not allow special characters in URL paths

When using the autocomplete to link to "sites/default/files/Capture d’écran 2014-10-23 à 13.24.36.png", the result does not show up in the search results because the filename has spaces, accentuated letters and a quote in the filename. Paths should probably be rawurlencoded instead so they show up in the autocomplete.
