In my test environment
user/NNN/subscriptions/node lists 3 nodes while in
user/NNN/subscriptions Number reads 8.
I don't know which action caused that (deleting nodes?).
How is Number evaluated?
How can I reset it?

This is a duplicate of #226185: Deleted threads still listing in the overview interface.

However, unpublished nodes are also counted on the Overview page, and they don't show up on the Threads page. It is not feasible to make the numbers match in all cases, and I'm adding a note to that effect.
