Connection issue with Sugar CRM system.

I am running sugar CRM on my localhost on following url.
http://localhost/sugar-ce-full-6.5.17/

Now on configuration form admin/drupaltosugar/system_configuration
Sugar crm url : http://localhost/sugar-ce-full-6.5.17/
username: admin
password: admin

When i try with this URL and right credentials it is showing me "connection can not be established."

Next to debug the issue i tried with Curl and it worked as per this url
http://support.sugarcrm.com/04_Find_Answers/03_Developers/100Web_Service...
I also checked whether SOAP is installed or not, but it is installed.

Any clue on this issue ?
I would like know is there any specific version of sugar crm that module is compatible with.
