#1623536: Multiple errors when attempting to save content when "Allow panel choice" is checked
That issue is actually more general than you would think from the title and has been plaguing me for a while resulting in WSOD when activating Features with Panelizer defaults. These patches fix it for me.
There's actually a main patch (#18) and followup (#26), but both have been committed to dev.
If Panelizer 3.2 isn't out by the next update of Panopoly, I'd suggest switching to the dev version, running commit 1c47cf or applying those patches. I'm not sure what the preferred method is for Panopoly (just the patches in a make file?).
I'm running the current dev version of Panelizer which includes these patches and it fixes the WSOD and hasn't caused me any problems yet.
This issue is separate and more recent than
#1727684: Panelizer Exporting
#1702034: Patching panelizer in make file to fix panelizer exportables

mglamanAll referenced issues are closed - is this still an issue (or does Panopoly bundle proper Panelizer now?) Haven't run into this issue myself.

ergophobe commentedUntil Panelizer 7.x-3.2 comes out, these bugs remain in Panelizer unless you apply the patches or run the dev version or checkout the commit I referenced.
So nothing has really changed since I posted that. I think the issues were closed and committed when I wrote the original post, but I opened the issue here because Panopoly was using Panelizer 3.1, which does not include these. I believe that's still the case.

mglamanFrom what I can see there's only one patch, #26 from #1623536: Multiple errors when attempting to save content when "Allow panel choice" is checked. Here's a patch to Panopoly Core to patch Panelizer.

ergophobe commentedYes, sorry. Only one patch. As I said in the first post, but clearly didn't reread in my last one, the other issues are separate and more recent.
And thanks for the patch! Looks great. I'll report back once I have a chance to update a Panopoly install.
