Thanks for making this excellent module.

I would like to request the ability to sort the order of the results are returned, and also perhaps the option to just show the results, and remove the searched string and advanced search links etc.

That's two requests, pls open separate issues.

Order of searches, yes, I see the point. You could try doing this by changing the weights of the modules that have hook implementations, e.g. with http://drupal.org/project/moduleweight, but that could have unintended consequences.

I don't think I want to add a UI for setting the order.
