When I select node in the hierarchical select dropdown I get an "Received an invalid response from server" and the page tries to request my privacy policy? :D Quite weird. Attaching a screenshot as it is hard to explain.

I don't think this is a CER problem -- something on your site is not playing nicely Hierarchical Select. I am changing this bug to that project. (To whom it may concern -- @giorgio79 encountered this problem while configuring the CER module, which uses HS widgets on its admin form.)

Lol figured this one out. I enabled only the base hs module, but one needs an implementation module, like flat list, or simple hierarchy.

That's strange -- CER itself already implements Hierarchical Select's API. It loads the HS callback functions if Hierarchical Select is detected (see the bottom of cer.module). Switching this issue back to CER's queue.
