Just a quick question to ask, how to set this up if i do not intend to use the tracker, and want to just take advantage of the upload node. ?
Any help is welcomed, I haven't set up a "mod" as such yet, so you're talking to a newb :P

Enable "upload" then "bt_torrent" module on the "modules" page inside of "site building" (/admin/build/modules).

After doing this go to the "site configuration" page for upload module ().

Add torrent to the list of uploadable file types (hint: Sometimes there is more than one box on this page, check the collapsible fields too)

Go to your the access control page and assign the (bt_torrent) permission to the user role you want to allow torrent upload privileges (/admin/user/access).

For example you may want anonymous users to have download privileges, but only allow site users permission to upload torrents. You may also need to assign upload permissions to the user.

Now site users can create a torrent node under the create content page.
