asb commentedSame problem here almost half a year later. This module DOES NOT WORK anymore.
marvil07 commentedI have just tested in a clean site the code of this module using media 7.x-2.x, and I see no problem, so it is not dailymotion changing api.
Updating your site to that version of media will probably solve your problem.
Pending to test with media 7.x-1.x.
marvil07 commentedI have just checked with 7.x-1.x and there is indeed a problem, probably something missing for media 7.x-1.x API not needed in 7.x-2.x API.
Patches welcome, but as mentioned in the meantime if you us media 7.x-2.x it works just fine.

asb commented7.x-2.x? This branch is not available in Drush, there is only 7.x-1.1:
marvil07 commented@asb Please read my comment again, I mean media, not media_dailymotion.
asb commented@marvil07: Sorry, I missed that this issue was filed against 7.x-1.x. However, I'm using media 7.x-2.0-alpha3+113-dev (current dev release) with media_gallery 7.x-2.x-dev.

marvil07 commentedCleanign up, I guess the problem is file entity display miss-configuration, please see admin/config/media/file-types/manage/video/file-display.
Reopen if needed.
