krynsky commentedI attached a file to help illustrate the issue.

stella commentedIt sounds like your misc/drupal.js file isn't being loaded or is an old version. It could cause collapsed fieldsets ("lightbox2 lite" and "advanced settings") not to work. I'd recommend ensuring that you have the correct version of lightbox2 and drupal installed and perhaps clear your cache, etc. There's also a known issue with fieldsets not working in Firefox with some themes, see #104175 for more information (I found the patch in comment #35 fixed it for me).

Stella
Comment #3
krynsky commentedWell I'm running Drupal 5.2 along with Lightbox2 2.4. With regards to the misc/drupal.js file, I'm assuming if it's old my only real way of upgrading is moving up to a newer version of Drupal which I can't do right now. Not sure if I can simply extract that file from a new version and copy it to my current one. It's not a cache issue as I've cleared that. I will try your last recommendation on the fieldset issue. Funny thing is I've had that problem with IE7 and not Firefox until I installed Lightbox2 and then the issue happened in Firefox as well.
Thanks for your help,
Mark

stella commentedI don't think it's a good idea to take drupal.js from a newer version to replace in your 5.2 installation. I doubt if they have changed any way and 5.2 should work. I just wanted to ensure you weren't using D6 with lightbox2 5.x-2.4.
The fieldset issue shouldn't be anything to do with lightbox2 - do fieldsets on other forms work? In Firefox, do any errors appear in the Error Console?
Can you give me any more information on the other problems you're having? You mentioned you were going to try lightbox2 lite because lightbox wasn't working.
Oh, did you install the "jQuery Update" module and replace the misc/jquery.js file with the one from this module? For Drupal 5, Lightbox2 needs the jQuery Update version of this file in order to function correctly.
Cheers,
Stella

stella commentedMarking as "won't fix" because no more information forthcoming. Not sure if the issue is even still happening. Please feel free to re-open this issue if it's still a problem and you can answer the questions above.
Cheers,
Stella

danielsnojacks commentedI hade the same problem in version 2.9 in drupal 5.15.
After a lot of experimentation i found that cause of this problem is conflict with module TinyMCE.
When I switched off module TinyMCE, configuration page of LightBox2 works normally.
After setting of LightBox2 I switched module TinyMCE on again and LightBox2 works, but when I can go on this configuration page again, I have to switch the module TinyMCE.
stella commented@danielsnojacks: that sounds more like a problem with tinyMCE - you probably need to disable it for the admin pages or at least for the textfield on lightbox2 configuration page. See more details on http://drupal.org/node/179462 on how to do this. If the problem persists, please open a support request against the tinyMCE module.
Cheers,
Stella

UnicornSong commentedHi
I am re-opening this issue, as I am having problems here too.
I cannot expand any collapsible fieldsets when I have lightbox2 enabled. If I disable Lightbox2, the problem goes away.
I have disabled TinyMCE also, but as soon as I enable Lightbox2, I cannot expand any collapsed fieldsets. This includes my module categories, so lucky IE7 displays module fieldsets expanded by default or I wouldn't be able to disable anything.
My site runs on Drupal 5.15 and uses Lightbox 5.x-2.9
The error I am getting in Firefox is
$("#lightboxAutoModal").triggerHandler is not a function
http://sitename/sites/all/modules/lightbox2/js/lightbox.js
Line 1111
Hopefully this sheds some light?

stella commentedIt sounds like you have not installed jquery_update module correctly - please ensure you have followed all the jquery update installation steps, including copying the javascript files to Drupal's main misc/ folder. If you upgraded recently, you would have to repeat this step again. You will then need to clear your browser cache before re-testing.
UnicornSong commentedwell, i over-wrote the jquery.js in /misc (was v1.6 which apparently was the more up-to-date version that comes with 5.x) with the version from the module folder (v1.1.2) to test.
I still have no expand links, although now in firefox most modules open expanded by default, which is a slight change in behaviour.
Also no expand links in other areas such as lightbox2 settings as per previous.
stella commentedAre there other javascript files that come with the jquery_update 1.x version? I know jquery_update 2.x has more than one javascript file that needs to be copied in. Did you clear the Drupal cache and your browser cache before re-testing?
UnicornSong commentedyes i cleared cache.
Other js files in the jquery_update folder include collapse-fix.js and compat-1.0.js, no mention of these in readme.txt.
