I need to upload different file types in my "file" field, and *only* for PDF files provide the image preview.

This is somewhat relevant to what I need. I need to also convert TIFF files to PNGs. I've already written code to manually do this, and now I also need to work with PDFs, so now I'd like to make a patch that converts the tiff file. Also, for images that view just fine, like jpgs and gifs and pngs, I just want to copy the file into the image field. Patch coming soon.

Non PDF files are properly ignored from processing. Thanks for the patch.
