New Roadmaps to plan the future of Mobile Navigation

Hello everybody!
First i want to thank everybody that has contributed ideas and patches to mobile navigation.
There is lot of people that like the module and there is a good deal of great companies and websites using it.
Thank you all. Great Work!
However there are many new ideas and a lot to do, so we need to move on.
So im writing this issue to share my thougts about the new Mobile Navigation Initiatives, hopping to have feedback from you everybody, since one thing im sure and that is that me alone im lost, but we all together can do really amazing things.

Im anouncing the creation of two new branches 7.x-2.x and 8.x-1.x, to start developing the new versions of Mobile Navigation.

• 7.x-1.x

  The current branch of mobile navigation is looking great!! This version will be maintained only for bugfixes and it will only be during the period before we release a stable 7.x-2.0 version.

• 7.x-2.x

  The version 2 of mobile navigation. We are starting this branch right now. The idea its to add everything that we have always wanted Mobile Navigation to do.

• 8.x-1.x

  We are starting with version 1 for Drupal 8. The idea is to include in this release all the great features that Mobile Navigation has and the new ones that are arising with the 7.x-2.x version. We will be using the Drupal 8 provided APIs as much as possible. To begin with, there is the Breakpoint module included in core.
  Drupal 8 has the Toolbar menu wich implements a solution like Mobile Navigation. Studying this module can help us a lot on improving mobile navigation module.
  However i belive real advances in this Branch will only be possible when we have many of the the 7.x-2.x version features developed. So it looks like 7.x-2.x goes before 8.x-1.x.
