I have several sites where users can switch themes, but only one "Path to custom Nice menus CSS file" is possible. When changed in one theme, the setting also change in all other themes.

Is there a way around this?

Note: For some reason all looks fine in Opera and Chromium, but not in Firefox.

D7 reached its EOL back in January 2025, and there is no active release for D7 for this module anymore.
Development or support is not planned for D7. All D7-related issues are marked as outdated in a bunch.
