Theming Tips

Commerce Kickstart 2.0 includes two themes that are sub-themes of Omega 3.x. These two themes are named:

• commerce_kickstart_theme (which is itself a sub-theme of omega_kickstart;
• omega_kickstart

The information below and on child pages is a collection of tips and tricks for working with these themes.

Overrides by node type and view mode

Commerce Guys has added a number of template hints for overriding product node displays based on the node type and view mode. Here's the list of the possible templates copied from this issue on d.o.

    node--product--type (For the generic one)
    node--(node-type) : e.g node--bags-cases.tpl.php
    node--product--type--(view-mode).tpl.php
    node--product--type--(view--mode).tpl.php (For backward compatibility)
    node--(node-type)--(view-mode).tpl.php : eg node--bags-cases--product-list.tpl.php
